India Election 2014 Lok sabha Election Tracker : Modi leads PM race and Rahul Gandhi in second



Bharathiya Janata party candidate and Gujarat Chief minister Narendera Modi and the congress candidate Rahul Gandhi are the two leaders who are most likely to be projected as the prime ministeral candidates in the India general Election 2014.




In the racce between Modi and Rahul , the former is ahead with 33 percent votes compared to 31 percent for the congress leader. Modi is more popular than rahul in North India ( 37 % vs 29 % ) , In central India ( 41 % vs 33% ) , In west India ( 43 % vs 32 % ) and east India ( 34 % vs 30 %).


2014 Election tracker survey reveals that Narendra Modi with 19 % of the votes is ahe3ad in the PM Race followed by Congress candidate Rahul gandhi with 12 % and Manmohan sing ( 6 % ) , Sonia gandhi ( 5 % ) , Lk Advani ( 1% ) , and Mayavadi ( 3 % ) this figures are major turn around from 2009 when Narendra Modi had the support of just 2 % of voters with Manmohan sing leading with 18 % . Advani (15 % ) , Sonia gandhi ( 16 % ) , Rahul Gandhi ( 6% ) and Mayavati ( 5 % ) were all much ahead of the Gujarat Chief Minister. the 66% of congress supporters want Rahul gandhi to be projected as the PM candidate while 79 % Bjp supporters want Narendra Modi to be projected for the PM Post.
